Mental Health 

Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) is a state agency that helps individuals with disabilities find employment. MRS helps eligible individuals develop skills, prepare for job searches, and find employers.

Many students with disabilities are eligible to work with MRS, although receiving special education and related services does not make a student automatically eligible.

Livingston Essential Transportation Service also known as L.E.T.S. Transportation is a public transportation service that was established in October of 1977. L.E.T.S. serves the elderly, disabled, children, teenagers, ANYONE! L.E.T.S. is a transportation service that provides dial-a-ride service to meet any transportation need. Riders can use our buses to travel to any destination in Livingston County including doctors’ offices, grocery stores, schools and banks.

We exist to assist families and individuals with developmental disabilities by providing support, information and advocacy. Our goal is to help build a community that includes and values people with disabilities. For over 50 years our programs and efforts have been focused on improving the awareness and quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.

for Blind Persons

The Michigan Bureau of Services for Blind Persons (BSBP) believes in the capacity of people who are blind or visually impaired to achieve employment and independence. BSBP provides training and other services that empower people to achieve their individual goals.
